LCSciences.com was a large html to wordpress site conversion – over 300 pages.
The company wanted simplified control over their website to keep maintenance in house. We chose a premium wordpress theme as a starting framework. Major theme customizations were completed to accommodate all client needs. (additional sidebars per category, and multilevel dropdown menus, which did not come with the theme)

The site had a healthy google page rank of 5 and quite a bit of traffic. Maintaining this was an obvious concern. The site was rebuilt in a temporary location, utilizing page redirects to guide traffic and search engines to the new location. When the final site was ok’d, everything was moved simultaneously for a seamless conversion. The job was completed in a month and the client was extremely happy with the quality of work.

Thesis Customizations Did you know that the Thesis Theme for WordPress could do this? After these client jobs, I have pretty good control over what goes where and the ability to build in extra features almost anywhere. Main goal, to make Thesis NOT look like Thesis.
